Mike is an expert in his field and an excellent instructor. With my first interaction over text he was quick to answer and will to answer all my questions, even offering advice before I even signed up for the class. Navigating California CCW is very complex and Mike understand just about everything we need to know to successful complete our CCW training and obtain our CCW. Jayson was also working with each of us and like Mike a pleasure to work with. I would l highly recommend Mike and Split Fire Training for any weapons training. During the class every student had personal attention and guidance. More than worth my time and money.

This is my first time taking a CCW renewal class but my second class with Mike. Both Mike and J were amazing and very helpful. Mike is very thorough both in the class and on the range. He answered all the questions we had and then some. He also presented various scenarios for us to be aware of and how to handle the situation. I'm always nervous taking any kind of testing, but they both made me feel comfortable and more confident. I definitely recommend taking his classes.

Michael and Reggie were great! The classroom training was kept entertaining by their real-life stories and the in-field training was well taught and straight to the point. I would highly recommend and will be coming back for other classes.

I just finished my 4-hour CCW renewal class. Actually, I stayed for most of the day. Mike & Reggie kept it upbeat in the classroom. "J" came on the range with the basic pistol shooters class and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Mike could not stress SAFETY FIRST enough. All three instructors were passionate about gun safety and respecting firearms. This was the best CCW renewal class I've taken (this was my 3rd). I know I made the right choice in being taught by this group. It was easy to sign up and is one of the recommended training sites by the Napa County Sheriffs department. I am looking forward to the next class! Split Fire Training is solid. Thank you for a fantastic experience!!

Michael and Jayson are both excellent instructors and were very patient and informative in answering the many questions I had. When we got to the range they decided on specific training based on my abilities. It was challenging and a great time, walked away feeling like I just had weeks of training! I plan to return some day for their CCW course.

I decided to take a step and learn a little more about how to handle and operate a weapon. Found Michael and signed up. Lots of good feed back and left the range with a lot of knowledge. Definitely plan on coming back. Out door range is a must try.

Then Splitfire is the place to be!!! I had a GREAT time in the class. The instructor teaches you in a way that is not intimidating, he explains things about firearms that a child would understand. You don't feel like you are in a room with Rambo, I asked questions and to him no question is dumb.we went to the range and I got a chance to see what different calibers of pistols was like and that is good because you can see what fits your preference in a firearm. And on the range he teaches you about safety in a class room setting and while at the range, and that was great for me because I had never been on a range before. which had restored my confidence in handling a loaded pistol.
I felt it was money well spent.

Instructor Kenner did not just read out of his instructor handbook, gave you a test and decided if you passed or failed. He added a lot of realism to the curriculum, threw in a lot of relatable information. He made sure you valued your training. Unlike most firearms training classes that can sometimes be intimidating, simply because the firearm instructor has a high standard for you. (especially in a CCW Class) Instructor Kenner makes sure, "your moving as fast as your slowest runner". Making sure everyone understands the course. Outside of the classroom and onto the range, I personally am nervous when people whom I do not know are operating firearms around me, and I have spent a good 10 years behind a firearm in real world scenarios. No offense to anyone but I have seen enough to make me nervous. Instructor Kenner is on top of safety. Before we are even on the range he has established a standard with his students. Which made it a lot comfortable for me and allowed me to enjoy the range time of class. In conclusion Split Fire Firearms training is a highly professional training course available to all Firearms Advocates. From those who just wish to be educated about firearms, to those who wish to advance their abilities. You cannot not find any other training outside of Military and Law Enforcement, especially in California that allows you to train the way you train with Split Fire.

I went to the training today, I can't explain how much fun I had! Not to mention the instructor Michael and Lonnie were amazing They will guide you and you will be comfortable and safe knowing you are being taught the proper procedures. I was reassured that I would be taught the proper handling of how to use and own a gun. The class was straight forward and the range was awesome I appreciate the time they took with me they were extremely patient with me. Furthermore, I will definitely will be coming back for more training and I highly recommend this to anyone thinking of joining my advice would be DON'T HESITATE YOU WILL ENJOY IT I PROMISE YOU JUST HOW I DID I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE SPLIT FIRE TRAINING AND AM THANKFUL TO HAVE HAD THIS GREAT EXPERIENCE SATISFIED CUSTOMER EVERYTHING IS LEGIT AND IT WAS PLEASURE TO BE TRAINED BY THE BEST OF THE BEST
