The next and final step in our basic handgun fundamental training series. Graduates of the Basic Firearms Course or CCW are invited to participate in this next series of drills that include: a dry fire warm up, a static line warm up, shooting on the move, and much more. This program introduces and reinforces the fundamentals of tactical shooting and weapons handling skills under stress. The foundation is a solid understanding of basic marksmanship and weapons handling/manipulation, but tactical shooting is much more dynamic than static range training and more opposition focused than competition shooting. Speed, movement, stress, and accuracy are emphasized to create success on demand.

Requirements:
Students must be 18 years of age or older and must have successfully completed our Basic Firearms Handgun Course before taking this next level course. Students will be required to demonstrate basic firearms safety, marksmanship, and competence in loading and unloading a firearm. The course is a total of 3 hours. The first hour includes a refresher, safety briefing, and range-rules briefing. From there, you will transition to 2 hours of defensive tactics training and live-fire drills.
Materials Required:
Provide your own California-compliant semi-automatic handgun (unless you plan to rent a firearm)

Students are required to bring:
Lay flat collared shirt
Long pants or shorts (depending upon the weather)

Please remember to safely, securely, and legally transport your firearm. No loaded magazines. All ammunition should be in the factory box or an ammo can. You must be a citizen of the United States or have permanent legal alien status and show a valid driver’s license or other valid photo identification to use a firearm in connection with any Services provided under this Agreement. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed on the range.
SPLIT FIRE TRAINING RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
